ABOUT FEREOS ARCHITECTS

Dr. Haris Fereos, is the Founding Partner of Fereos Architects. He graduated from National Technical University of Athens in 1965, where he also received his Ph.D in Architecture. He founded the studio in 1978, and has led the practice for more than 40 years, creating a lasting mark on the island's Architecture and built environment. Recognized within the architectural community of Cyprus for his service, he has been honored with the award of Exceptional Service in Architecture by the Cyprus Architects Association, of which he also served as president for two terms. 

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), as well as the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK)

Pavlos studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, where he completed postgraduate studies in Architectural Research. He then moved to London to study at the Design Research Laboratory (DRL) of Architectural Association. He is a candidate for UCL - Bartlett's research title "Robotic-Aided Material Transliterations of Computational Geometries", while holding Senior Scientist at the Institute of Experimental Architecture in Innsbruck, Austria, where he teaches Robotic Fabrication at REX | LAB and Design Studios. In 2013, he founded Decode Fab Lab, a Prototyping and Fabrication Lab in Athens, while since 2019 he has been co-coordinator at the new Master of Science in Computational Design and Digital Fabrication at the University of Nicosia.

He has collaborated as lead Architect and computer designer in Architectural competitions with MVRDV, while as a partner in Fereos + Associates Architects, he has completed a large number of projects in Cyprus and Greece. Having won numerous awards, his research work has been exhibited in the London Festival of Architecture, the Royal Academy of Arts, AA Members Room and Arup Gallery.

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), as well as an RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) part III chartered architect.

Stefanos studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, from where he graduated in 2005. In his 15 years as a partner in Fereos + Associates Architects, he has completed a very large number of projects in Cyprus and Greece, with a variety of types and scales. Stefanos has an extensive experience in planning, management and realisation of projects in Cyprus and Greece and hence expertise in their design and building regulations. Amongst others, he has been responsible for large residential, public as well as cultural projects in Cyprus.

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK). Additionally, he has served as a Secretary of the Cyprus Architects Association, of which he is still an active member until today.
